From the coastal-chic living room in Something's Gotta Give to the dreamy kitchen in It's Complicated, the sets in Nancy Meyers's acclaimed films have inspired more than a few Pinterest boards and renovation projects. Her latest movie, The Intern, is equally stylish, capturing the trendy Brooklyn style of an e-commerce entrepreneur both at home and at work. The director teamed with Oscar-nominated production designer Kristi Zea on the sets, which were heavily influenced by Meyers's own Pinterest boards. Here, Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway) is shown with her assistant Becky (Christina Scherer) and intern Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) in the office of her company, About the Fit.

Hathaway's character, Jules, shares a Park Slope, Brooklyn, brownstone with her husband, Matt, and young daughter, Paige. A renovated home in the nearby Clinton Hill neighborhood served as the shooting location.

Meyers used shades of gray throughout the home, choosing a dark charcoal for Jules and Matt's bedroom. The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by a Moroccan rug, a red chaise longue, and an eclectic mix of patterned pillows.

Meyers and Zea chose a mix of black-and-white photography, prints, and children's artwork to display in Jules's brownstone. In the home of De Niro's character, Ben, a retired manufacturing executive who takes an internship at Jules's company, they included works by the actor's father, figurative painter Robert De Niro, Sr.

To capture the look and feel of a start-up, Meyers and Zea toured the offices of e-commerce companies including Moda Operandi, Nasty Gal, and One Kings Lane for inspiration. The production design team built glass-walled conference rooms as part of the open-plan office, and sofas from CB2 were added to the lounge areas.

True to the start-up culture, Jules's desk is out in the open among her employees. The white bike is her favorite mode of transport from meeting to meeting.
